    In this perid, The passage is intended t reflect the unit theme frm anther angle. Students will read a brief bigraphy f Nichlas Wintn, the British Schindler, wh survived the Wrld War И and made every effrt t save 669 children’ s lives frm death at the hands f the Nazis. Students are expected t understand the reading material better by making a timeline t recrd and tract imprtant infrmatin.
    In the sectin f writing, a mdel versin presents Tu Yuyu’ CV, which tells students abut a great medical research pineer’s experience. The writing frame will help students t grasp the way f writing a shrt bigraphy.
    1. Guide students t get main infrmatin f the bigraphy by skimming and scanning.
    2. Guide students t further understand the text and think abut Wintn’s persnal qualities, which is intended t help students cmment n peple’s mral values as well as develp a sense f scial respnsibility.
    3. Lead student t master hw t write a shrt bigraphy with the writing help.
    1. Help students master the reading skills f bigraphies t understand the text better.

    1. Have students lk at the wrd clud and the pictures and predict what the text is mainly abut.
    Ntes: have sme students read the wrds and expressins ludly s as t make sure they recgnized the meanings f the wrds.
    2. Lead students t read “Learning t learn ”, which can help them quickly get main ideas f the text accrding t the timeline.
