    In this perid, firstly students will cme t sme pictures presenting inventins frm famus imaginary nvels. Besides, thrugh watching the vide, students can learn abut ther inventins which can aruse their interest in scientific creatins.
    The reading material is an interview, in which Dr Richard , the authr f The New Age f Inventin is invited t talk abut human’s inventins. Befre reading, the lead-in part will guide the students t think abut the significance f human’s inventins and the reasns the inventins were made. After reading, students are expected t vice their pinins abut what inspires peple t cntinuusly invent things.
    1. Lead students t talking abut the influence f inventins n human and predict future inventins by watching the vide.
    2. Have students get the main idea f the text by skimming and identity the interviewee’s pinins abut the new age f inventin.
    3. Guide the students t learn abut the features f interview articles and get the gist f the cnversatin.
    4. Guide the students t think abut inspiratin fr inventins and cultivate a spirit f innvatin.
    1. Guide students t hw the way f ur life inventins have changed and the reasn behind these changes.
    2. Guide students t master the skills f reading the interview and develp their reading ability.

    Lead the students t lk at the fur pictures with illustratins and talk abut the imaginary inventins frm famus nvels.

    Step 6 Language appreciatin
    1. It (the title f the bk) suggests that the present day is a new age fr inventins.
    [句式分析] 本句中 “suggest ”意为“表明”引导的宾语从句 “that the present day is a new age fr inventins. ”, 从句用“陈述语气”。区别于suggest作“建议”时引导的从句用“虚拟语气”,从句谓语用“shuld +verb”.
