    Students will be able t
    1. read and understand a learning reflectin
    2. identify the main idea f each paragraph and label it crrectly
    3. use additin linkers
    4. prepare an utline f and write their reflective jurnal
    5. cnduct peer assessment
    【教学重难点】
    1. understanding hw t write a reflective jurnal
    2. prducing a chesive reflective jurnal
    【教学过程】
    1. Grup Wrk: Talk abut what yu have learnt.
    1) Write the title f the lessn n the bard and ask students t brainstrm ideas n learning reflectin. Explain that when they lk at themselves in the mirrr, they see a “reflectin” f themselves. A “learning reflectin” is when smene stands back in rder t “reflect” n what they have learnt and assesses this infrmatin.
    2) In grups, students discuss what they have learnt at schl and generally in their life and the tw questins n page 62. Encurage students t supprt their answers with reasning and examples.
    3) Each student ntes dwn their answers.
    2. Read and make a list.
    1) Invite students t read silently thrugh the learning reflectin. Students underline any wrds that they are unsure f. Explain any difficult wrds.
    2) Students underline (in a different clur) the things the writer has reflected n.
    3) Review the answers as a class.
    3. What des each paragraph talk abut?
    1) Read the list f headings n page 63.
    2) Independently, students cmplete the task, by marking the paragraphs.
    3) Call ut the headings fr students t pint at the crrespnding paragraph.
    4. Write three things yu have learnt.
    1) Tell students: I learnt that sme peple have amazing memries. It’s amazing t knw hw a persn’s memry changes with age. I was surprised t learn that 25 is the age the human memry wrks best. Discuss with students n hw these three sentences culd be better linked.
    2) Read the Sentence Builder. Pint ut that using additin linkers makes bth speech and writing easier and mre interesting t fllw.
    3) Students wrk thrugh the learning reflectin text n page 62 and underline any examples f additin linkers they can find.
    4) Students write dwn the three things they have learnt in this unit. Check students are using additin linkers crrectly.
    5. Cmpse yur writing: Outlining.
    1) Ask students t use their ntes in Activity 4 and the structure f the learning reflectin n page 62 in rder t cmplete the utline f their wn reflectin.
    2) Remind them t nly fill it in with ntes at this pint. Ask strnger students t help any struggling students with the preparatin f their reflectin.
    6. Cmpse yur writing: Drafting.
    1) Read thrugh the Writing Help. Pint ut that students need t rganise the infrmatin they have int clearly structured paragraphs.
    2) Students shuld als pay attentin t hw they link sentences and paragraphs s that their wrk is chesive.
    3) Students cmplete their learning reflectin.
    7. Cmpse yur writing: Editing.
    1) Tell students that the final stage f writing, befre publishing, is editing. When we edit, we check that ur ideas are clear and that ur sentences are cmplete.
    2) Have students exchange their writing with a partner and ffer each ther suggestins t imprve their drafts.
    3) After editing, writers will make changes t their drafts and either rewrite r print a clean cpy f the wrk.
    4) Ask students t prepare a final draft f their wrk t submit fr yur review and then place in a writer’s prtfli.
