    I have just cmpleted my first year as a vlunteer befriender (帮扶人)with the Nrth Lanarkshire Befriending Prject. I was matched with a yung girl called Amy, wh had been struggling (挣扎) with different aspects f her life and suffered frm lw self-cnfidence.
    At first, I was a bit wrried abut whether Amy wuld like me r want t spend time with me. These fears sn disappeared when I quickly frmed a strng bnd (关系) with Amy. She trusted me and felt like she culd depend n me.
    During ur time tgether, I tk Amy ut twice a mnth. I must say, cllecting her fr the first time and deciding what we were ging t d was difficult! I quickly learned that it was best t plan what we wuld d n the next uting befre cllecting her.
