1、Where 疑问句
本单元学习用where提问，询问物品的位置。句型是"Where+be+名词?”，表示“……在哪里?”。
其中be动词的形式由名词的单复数决定，名词是单数，be动词用is，where is可缩写为 where's;名词是复数，be动词用are,where are可缩写为where're。如: Where is/Where's my dictionary?我的字典在哪儿? Where are/Where're his books?他的书在哪儿?
回答时用it来代替单数名词，用they米代替复数名词。口语里还常常省略It's或 They're。如:
- Where's my notebook?我的笔记本在哪儿?
- It's on the desk./On the desk.(它)在书桌上。 - Where are your keys?你的钥匙在哪儿?
- They're in the schoolbag. /In the schoolbag.(它们)在书包里。
2 、介词in,on, under
在回答where 问句或是描述人、物所处的位置时，我们要使用表示方位的介词。本单元主要学习的是in,on和 under 这三个方位介词。 in 表示“在……里面”。 on 表示“在……上面”。
under 表示“在……下面”。如:
My pen is in the pencil box.我的钢笔在文具盒里。 My keys are in the bookcase.我的钥匙在书架里。 The cat is under the table.猫在桌子底下。
-ls my book under the chair?我的书在椅子底下吗?一Yes, it is. /No, it isn't.是的，它在。/不，不在。 - Are your pencils on the sofa?你的铅笔在沙发上吗? -Yes, they are. /No, they aren't. They're on the desk.是的，它们在。/不，不在。它们在书桌上。
我们在小学课本里还学到了其他一些表示方位的介词或短语，如:near在…旁边; behind在……后面;in front of在....前面。
