    This is because...“这是因为……”,because引导表语从句。
    名师点拨:
    because, as, since
    1.because语气最强,用以回答why引起的提问,可表示已知或未知的事实。它可和强调词only, merely, just及否定词not连用,所引导的从句常置于主句之后,只有强调时才置于主句之前。它还可用于强调结构。
    2.as语气最弱,较口语化。所表达的原因比较明显,或是已知的事实,故不需要强调。as从句之前不可用强调词和not,且不可用于强调结构。as从句多置于主句之前。
    3.since语气也比较弱,常表达对方已知的事实,往往相当于汉语的“既然”。它和as一样,其前不可用强调词和not,亦不可用于强调结构。
    4.for和上述三个从属连词不同,它是一个等立连词,即连接并列句。它有时可用来作附加说明,为前面的事实提供一种推断的理由。如:
    It must have rained last night, for the ground is wet.昨天一定是下雨了,因为地面是湿的。

    2.“do/does/did+动词原形”构成对谓语动词的强调句
    [用法归纳]
    “do/does/did+动词原形”构成强调句,意为“确实,的确”,用来加强谓语动词的语气,但须符合以下条件:
    (1)句子是肯定句;
    (2)句子的时态为一般现在时或一般过去时;
    (3)只能用来强调谓语动词,若强调主语、宾语、表语、状语等,则应用It is/was...that...进行强调。

    英语中对谓语动词的强调只限于句子的时态是一般现在时和一般过去时,如果句子时态是完成时、将来时或进行时,语态是被动语态时,则不能对谓语进行强调。

    3.“形容词比较级+than...”,意为“比……更……”
    [用法归纳]
    “形容词/副词比较级+than”表示“两者中一方比另一方更……”;“less+形容词/副词原级+than”结构,表示“一方不及另一方……”。
    三个或三个以上的人或事物比较,表示最高程度时,用“the+最高级+比较范围”表示。
    形容词比较级前一般不用冠词,但如果出现表示范围的短语时,就需要加定冠词,“the+形容词比较级”指两者中“较……的”那一个。
    在某个特定范围内,同类事物对比,可用以下比较级结构表示最高级含义:
    比较级+than+the other+复数名词
    比较级+than+any other+单数名词
    比较级+than+any of the other+复数名词
