快速略读(Skimming)
1.略读的概念　又称“跳读”(reading and skipping)或“浏览”(glancing)。要求以较快速度(100-150wpm)在2-3分钟内略读完文章，迅速获取文章内容或中心思想，即有选择地进行阅读，可跳过某些细节，抓住文章的大意，从而加快阅读速度。2.略读的技巧Read the title, subtitles and subheadings t find ut what the text is abut.Lk at the illustratins t give yu mre infrmatin abut the tpic.Read the first and last sentence f each paragraph.Dn’t read every wrd r every sentence. 　Hundreds f years ag，a Rman army came nrth frm England t make war n Sctland. The Scts，a brave peple，lved their cuntry very much. They fught hard t drive the enemy ut f Sctland，but there were t many Rmans. It lked as if the Rmans wuld win.　　One night，the leader f Scts marched his sldiers t the tp f a hill. “We will rest here tnight，my men,” he said. “Tmrrw we will fight ne mre battle. We must win r we will die.”　　They were all very tired，s they ate their supper quickly and fell asleep. There were fur guards n duty，but they，t，were very tired，and ne by ne，als fell asleep.　　The Rmans were nt asleep. Quickly they gathered at the ft f the hill. Slwly they climbed up the hillside，taking care nt t make a sund. Clser and clser they came t the sleeping Scts. They were almst at the tp. A few minutes mre，the war wuld be ver. Suddenly，ne f them put his ft n a thistle(蓟). He cried ut and his sudden cry wke the Scts. In a mment，they were n their feet and ready fr battle. The fighting was hard but it did nt last lng. The Scts wiped ut the Rmans and saved their cuntry.　　The thistle is nt a beautiful plant. It has sharp needles all ver it. Few peple like it. But the peple f Sctland liked it s much that they made it their natinal flwer.
