This unit is mainly about festivals and celebrations. The task of Unit is to guide students to

Appreciate our own culture and respect the other cultures. And they should master how to  identify the main idea of each paragraph.

学情分析：

The words of this unit is difficult for them, so it seems difficult to understand the

passage, but they may be interested in the topic, especially the Water Festival. Second,

the students may find it hard to master reading skills, unable to grasp some details.

2.Enable the students to know about the reasons for festivals and celebrations.

3.To appreciate our own culture and respect other cultures.

Activity 1

Look at the title and pictures in the book to predict the main idea of the text.

Read the passage quickly to find out the topic sentence of each paragraph individually

教后反思：

文章理解对于层次好的同学来说深度不够，题目设置还需要更有层次性和针对性。整节课课程设置紧凑，较好的达到了教学目标，充分发挥了学生学习主动性，设置的小组活动，让学生在做中学，学会后教别人来巩固自己的知识点。
