In spring, you can see many people flying kites. They are seen as symbols of spring and good luck.
In China, kites were first invented about 2000 years ago. According to Chinese history, the first kite was made out of wood by Mozi. He spent about 3 years on the first kite. If you are interested in it, you can try to make your own one like this. It may only take you about half a day to finish making a kite.
First, use some bamboo to make a frame.
Second, use strings to tie the bamboo frame tightly.
Third, cut a paper picture which fits the frame. Then, stick it onto the frame.
Finally, you can fly it.
