    be late fr 迟到
    be late fr sth.意为“做某事迟到了/晚了”。还可以用be late t d sth.来表达。eg:Jack was late fr class again yesterday. 杰克昨天上课又迟到了。 I was late t meet my uncle at the airprt tday. 今天我去机场接我叔叔晚了。
    Dn’t+动词原形+其他!意为“不要……!”
    这是表建议“不要做……”的祈使句型。Dn't后接动词原形。eg:Dn't g ut at night! 晚上不要出去!

    be gd at 意为“擅长”
    be gd at表示“擅长,(在某方面)做得好”。be better at 是be gd at的比较级,表示“更擅长”。much可用于比较级前,用来加强语气和程度。eg:She is gd at maths. I am much better at maths.她擅长数学,我比她更擅长数学。
    完成句子:杰克的妹妹十分擅长游泳和打网球。 Jack's sister ________ ________ ________ ________ swimming and playing tennis.

    辨析be gd at,be gd fr与be gd t(1)be gd at “擅长”, 后接名词、代词或动名词,可与d well in 相互转换。eg: Mr. Brwn is American, but he is gd at Chinese and Japanese. =Mr. Brwn is American, but he des well in Chinese and Japanese.
    布朗先生是一个美国人,但是他擅长汉语和日语。(2)be gd fr “对……有好处/有益”, 其反义短语为: be bad fr “对……有害处”。 eg:Eating mre vegetables is gd fr yur health. 多吃蔬菜对你的健康有好处。(3)be gd t “对……友好”, 后接名词或代词。 eg: The ld man is very gd t his neighburs. 那位老人对他的邻居非常友好。
    need vt. 需要; 必须 aux. 必须; 不得不
    need作实义动词时的用法(1)need作实义动词,意为“需要;必须”, need后面的宾语可以是名词、动名词、动词不定式或代词。eg:The children in the pr muntain areas need a great deal f mney. 贫困山区的孩子们需要大量的钱。

    (3)既可用于肯定句,也可用于否定句和疑问句,构成否定句和疑问句时要借助助动词d 或者des。eg: Mary desn't need any help. 玛丽不需要任何帮助。 Des Henry need t buy a cmputer? 亨利需要买一台电脑吗?
    need作情态动词时的用法(1) need 作情态动词时,一般不用于肯定句。用于否定句时,直接在need后加上nt(缩写形式为needn't);变为疑问句时,将need 移到主语前。
    eg:We needn't clean the classrm after schl. 我们放学后不必打扫教室。 Need I cpy all the new wrds in the textbk? 我需要抄写课本里所有的生词吗? (2)用于回答情态动词must所提问的问句。eg:—Must Susan return the bk t the library this afternn? 今天下午苏珊必须把书还给图书馆吗? —N, she needn't.不,她不必。
    need ding 是主动形式表被动,等于 need t be dne,意为“某事/物需要被做”。The flwers need watering. (=The flwers need t be watered.) 花儿需要浇水。
    much better 好多了
    形容词比较级前用much修饰,意为“……得多”。修饰比较级的常用单词和短语还有far,a lt,a little,a bit等。eg:I think fish is much mre delicius than prk. 我认为鱼肉比猪肉好吃得多。
    【点拨】考查形容词比较级的修饰词。正确把握语境法。句意: 许多学生说如果没有考试,他们会在学校里过得更加愉快。have a happy time “玩得高兴”是固定短语,happy 是形容词,由句意推理可知,此处应使用比较级happier, much可用来修饰形容词比较级,综合分析可知应选D。

    half /hɑːf/ n.一半

    表示“一半……”时,用half a(n)...;表示“一个半……”时,要用ne+可数名词单数+and a half或ne and a half+可数名词复数。eg:half an apple 半个苹果 ne banana and a half 一根半香蕉 ne and a half pears 一个半梨子
