    Step 1: Warm-up & Revisin & Lead-in
    1. Greetings.
    2. Sing a sng.①
    (1)Sing the sng—Changes in me. (出示课件) Then present the wrds.
    (2)Present the clumns f “Befre, Nw, In the future”.
    Lead students t describe the changes in the by in the sng with these adverbial expressins f time accrding t the sng. Present the main structures f the sentences and the initial letters f the wrds. Ask students t cmplete them.
    Then lead students t read the sentences tgether.

    通过歌曲复习形容词的比较级、一般现在时和一般过去时,激活本课的相关的语言知识,做好话题准备。将歌词和三个不同时态的时间状语相结合,引导学生在核心句型的提示下,尝试描述小男孩从小到大的变化,以及预测将来的变化,为下面即将进行的学习做铺垫。

    T: Bill made a pster t intrduce himself t Mike. We can see the changes in Bill frm these three pictures. Can yu match the pictures f different ages t the clumns f “Befre, Nw, In the future”?
    Students match the pictures t the clumns.
    Befre: Age 5
    Nw: Age 12.
    In the future: Age…?

    通过Bill的海报导入复习课,让学生将Bill不同的年龄和对应的时间段进行配对,引导学生关注不同的时间状语。
    Step 2: Presentatin & Practice③
    1. Describe Bill at the age f 5.
    T: We can see sme faces under the pictures. What d these happy r sad faces mean?
    Ss: The happy face means “like”. The sad face means “dislike”.
    T: What did he like when he was five?
    Ss: He liked candies and playing basketball.
    (Lead students t learn t express in full sentences.)
    T: What didn’t he like?
    Ss: He didn’t like skipping rpe.
    T: Hw did he lk like when he was five?
    Ss: He was very shrt and thin.
    T: S, at the age f five, he liked candies and playing basketball, but he didn’t like skipping rpe. He was very shrt and thin.
    2. Describe Bill at the age f 12.
    T: Nw Bill is twelve years ld.
    Highlight the wrd “nw”.
    T: When we describe Bill at the age f 12, d we use “Bill liked…” r “Bill likes…”?
    Ss: We use “Bill likes…” and “He desn’t like…”
    T: Excellent! We use different tenses when we describe peple r things in different time. S, at the age f 12, he…
    Ss: He likes music and strybks. But he desn’t like swimming.
    Lead students t pay attentin t Bill’s differences in height and figure with bdy language. Present the sentence structures.
    Ss: Nw Bill is taller and bigger than befre. He was much shrter, smaller and thinner befre. He likes music and strybks, but he desn’t like swimming.
    3. Describe Bill’s future.
    T: Lk at this picture f Bill in the bk. Is he becming lder r yunger?
    Ss: He is becming lder.
    T: Yes, he is becming lder. Guess hw ld he is.
    Ss: Maybe he is…years ld.
    T: I agree with yu. I think he is abut 20 t 36 years ld. What will he lk like in the future?
    Ss: He will be taller/strnger/…than he is nw.
    T: What will he like?
    Ss: He will like driving a red car and wearing a yellw hat.
    Present the sentence structures.
    Ss: In the future, he will be much taller and strnger than he is nw. He will like driving a red car and wearing a yellw hat.

    从befre, nw, in the future三个不同的时间阶段,引导学生学会使用一般过去时、一般现在时和一般将来时对人物的今昔变化进行描述,并预测将来的变化。给出框架,帮助学生建构句子,在表达的过程中,注意动词的相应变化,提高语言的准确性。
