    Dr Dian Fssey, ne f the wrld's leading wmen scientists, had a remarkable career. The wrk she devted her life t prtecting and studying the muntain grillas (大猩猩) f Africa—has prved highly effective and has resulted in the steady (平稳的) increase f this mst endangered great apes.
    Fssey made her first trip t Africa in 1963. Three years later, she returned t Africa t begin a lng term study f the muntain grillas.
