01.  We always have a lot of fun at Christmas. 我们在圣诞节总是很开心。（教材P78）

Have a lot of fun = have a good time 玩得开心 注意：fun 是不可数名词

at Christmas 和 on Christmas Day  通常情况下，节日名前加介词at，但如果节日后有Day，那么前面加介词on。例如：

__at__ Halloween 在圣诞节  _On__Mid-Autumn Day 在中秋节

02. First, we buy presents for our family and friends.首先，为我们的家人和朋友买礼物。（教材P78）

此句中first用来说明顺序，意为“先…”，暗示解接下去还有其他动作或事件要发生，因此其后往往接有（或暗示有）then，next，last等词。

  first也可表示序数词，意为“第一”，通常情况下，作为序数词时需要在前面加定冠词the。

  介词短语at first意为“起初，开始”，它主要用于强调前后对照，暗示接下去的动词与前面的动作不同甚至相反。

buy sth. for sb. 意为“买某物给某人”，也可用“buy sb. sth.”，其使用形式为双宾语 结构。

make sb. sth = make sth. for sb.

give/send/show sb. sth. = give/send/show sth. to sb.

03. We sometimes go to see Father Christmas . 有时我们去看圣诞老人。（教材P78）

Father Christmas圣诞老人，也可以说Santa Claus。

04. Next, we put pretty things on the Christmas tree.接着,我们把一些好看的东西挂在圣诞树上。（教材P78）

put sth. on sth. 意为“把…放在…上”；

put sth. in sth. 意为“把…放在…里面”；

put sth. under sth. 意为“把…放在…下面”

1）我们也把我们的礼物放在树下。：We also put our presents under the tree.

（2）他们把球放在床下。：They put the ball under the bed.

（3）他把伞放在门后面。He puts his umbrella behind the door.

05. It looks great! 它看上去好极了！（教材P78）

  此句中look是连系动词，意为：看起来，看上去，后跟形容词。

之前我们学过的look是不及物动词，如要后面跟宾语，必须与介词连用，例如：look at, look for, look after…。例如：

他看上去很伤心。He looks very sad.

你看上去很年轻。You look very young.

请看黑板。Please look at the blackboard.

 你在找什么？What are you looking for ?

06. Then, Christmas Eve comes. 然后，平安夜到来了。（教材P79）

Christmas Eve平安夜，圣诞夜，圣诞节前夕（12月24日）

Chinese New Year’s Eve  除夕

春节到了：Spring festival comes.

新年到了  Chinese New year comes.

老师来了  The teacher comes.

07. We put a stocking on our beds and wait for presents.我们把一只长筒袜放在床头等待礼物。（教材P79）

wait for sth./sb.意为“等待某物/某人”。

【拓展】：wait to do sth. 等待做某事

          wait for one’s doing 等待做某事

          can’t wait to do sth. 迫不及待做某事

08. Finally, it is Christmas Day.最后,圣诞节到了（教材P79）

09. We wake up early and open our presents.我们早早醒来，打开礼物。（教材P79）

1.wake up 意为“醒来”，是自然醒。wake sb. up “叫醒某人， 吵醒某人”

     Please wake him up. It’s late for school. 请叫醒他， 上学晚了。

   2.在此句中early作为副词修饰动词wake；early也可做形容词，意为“早的”。

     I go to school early today.

   3.open 作为动词表示“打开”，也可做形容词意为“开着的”。

     Please open the door.

     The school is open.

10.What’s wrong with him? 他怎么了？（教材P85）

What’s wrong with … ? ……怎么了？相当于：What’s the matter with…? 例如：

 她怎么啦? What’s wrong with her? = What’s the matter with her?

你的手表怎么啦？What’s wrong with your watch?= What’s the matter with the watch?

11. I play the piano at four o’clock in the afternoon.我在下午四点弹钢琴。（教材P87）

  play the piano意为“弹钢琴”；

  play + the + 乐器  如： play the guitar , play the violin

  play + 球类  如： play basketball/ volleyball/ football
