一、教学目标：

1.知识目标：学生能听懂、会说、认读并书写下列词汇：lion animals rat ox tiger

2.能力目标：能认读、理解并运用下列基本的句型结构：We will have a meeting on January 12 in the morning. I will tell all the animals. 

3. 情感目标：创设情境，分角色扮演，调动学生的学习英语的积极性。

二、教学重点：

使学生能够听懂、会说、认读并书写单词：lion animals rat ox tiger

使学生能够听懂、会说、运用基本的句型结构：We will have a meeting on January 12 in the morning. I will tell all the animals. 

三、教学难点：

让学生用自己的话复述课文。

五、教学步骤和建议

师生问好：

T: Good morning class.

S: Good morning teacher.

T: How are you?

S: We are fine.

教师出示PPT2，展示本节课目录：Story time Talk and act

教师出示PPT3，对学生进行趣味导入，帮助学生激发上课的学习兴趣。

看多媒体PPT展示图片。

T:现在来复习一下，同学们现在来互相问一下对方的属相吗？

展示图片。句型：…year is the year of+ the +生肖.

（二）Presentation

1.PPT4-PPT5学习本课的1部分的内容。

（1）PPT4-PPT9

教师出示PPT4-PPT9，展现本节课内容。

We will have a meeting on January 12 in the morning. I will tell all the animals.

The Lion King wants to name the years. He asks the rat to help. The earliest to arrive will be the first.

How can I be the first? Everyone wants to be the first.

Hi, little rat. Is the meeting on January 12?

Err...Yes. In I the afternoon. The rat meets the cat.

Mr. Ox, I'm tired. Can I sit in your ear? Okay!On January 12, the ox gets up very early in the morning. On his way to the meeting, he meets the rat.
  I'm the first
  No. You are the second. I'm the first.

The ox runs and runs. He arrives at the meeting first. He's very tired and sits down. The rat jumps in front of the ox. I'm the third.Then the tiger comes. He is the third.

Okay, Here's the order of the years. l think twelve animals are good for the names of years.
The rabbit is the fourth; the dragon is the fifth; the snake is the sixth; the horse is the seventh; the sheep is the eighth; the monkey is the ninth; the rooster is the tenth; the dog is the eleventh; and the pig is the twelfth.
Why are you so early, Tiger?The meeting is in the afternoon.
No, it was in the morning. You are late.
Later, the cat comes. He also wants to bel the first. He meets the tiger on the way.

You bad rat!I I'll eat you.
Help! Help!
And that is why cats always eat rats.

2. PPT10-PPT18 讲解文中出现的重点知识

重点①:have a meeting开会

例句：we will have a meeting on tomorrow.我们明天要开会。

meet n.集会   复数：meets

        v.遇见     过去式：met       

（3）教师出示PPT11，讲解文中出现的重点知识：

重点②:He asks the rat to help.    他叫来老鼠帮忙。

此句是让某人做某事的句型。

ask sb. to do sth.     意思是“让/叫某人做某事”

句型： ... ask/asks ... to+动词原形+...

例句：I want to ask him to go to the movies. 我想让他去电影院。

（4）教师出示PPT12-PPT13，讲解文中出现的重点知识：

重点③:重点复习 how

1． 问身体健康等情况

How are your parents?你父母身体好吗?

2． 问天气状况

How is the weather today?今天天气怎么样?

3．询问方式

How does your mother go to work every day?你妈妈每天怎么去上班?

重点③:重点复习 how

4．How old        问年龄、年代。

How old is your friend?你朋友多大了?

5．How many    问可数名词数量。常将可数名词复数紧随其后。

How many pictures are there on the wall?墙上有多少幅画?

6．How much    询问不可数名词的数量、物品的价格.

How much money is there in the purse?钱包里有多少钱?

重点④:everyone             pron.每个人;人人

例句：he knew everyone in the school.

他认识学校里的每一个人。

同义词：everybody

反义词：nobody没有人

（6）教师出示PPT15，讲解文中出现的重点知识：

重点⑤:get up      起床

例句：I get up early this morning.今天早上我起床很早。

词组：get to               到达

  get ready for  为....做好准备

（7）教师出示PPT16，讲解文中出现的重点知识：

重点⑥:on his way to

词组：on one’s way to   在某人去……的路上

例句：He ran into an old friend on his way to school.

            在去学校的路上，他遇到一位老朋友。

词组：on the way to

（8）教师出示PPT17，讲解文中出现的重点知识：

重点⑦:order          n.顺序

复数：orders

短语：out of order  出故障

（9）教师出示PPT18，讲解文中出现的重点知识：

重点⑧:Why are you so early，Tiger? 老虎，你为什么这么早?

此句是特殊疑问词引导的询问原因的特殊疑问句。

句型结构：Why+be+...+形容词/代词/名词+...?

                    Why+助动词+ ... +动原形+ ...?

例句：Why are you late?   你为什么来晚了?
