Step 1  Warming up

1. Show a map of the world. Get the class to work in groups. Try to find as many English-speaking countries as you can.

2. Get some groups to say the English-speaking countries they’ve found on the map.

特殊疑问句

Ⅰ. Explain special questions.　

特殊疑问句是以疑问词开头的疑问句，询问人、物、时间或地点等，回答时不能用yes或no。

特殊疑问句通常是“疑问词+一般疑问句”的结构，但在询问主语（人或物）时，要用陈述语序。

   Where are you from? （疑问语序）

   你来自哪里？

   Who can speak French? （陈述语序）

   谁会讲法语？

Ⅱ.常见的疑问词及其用法

1.—What are you doing? 你在做什么？

　—I am reading. 我在读书。

2. —What’s the date? 今天是几号？

  —It’s February 12th. 今天是２月12日。

3.—Where are you from? 你来自哪里？

  —I am from South Africa. 我来自南非。

4. —When is Children’s Day? 儿童节是什么时候？

  —It’s on June 1. 6月1日。

5. —How are you?你好吗？

　—I’m fine, thank you. 我很好，谢谢。

6. —How is the weather today? 今天天气怎么样？

 —It’s rainy. 今天下雨。

7. —Who are you going with? 你要和谁一起去？

　—I am going with my sister. 我要和我妹妹一起去。

8. —Whose bike is this? 这是谁的自行车？

　—It’s Nick’s. 是尼克的。

9. —How many people are there in the room? 房间里有多少人？

　—There are twenty. 有20人。

10. —How much water do you need? 你需要多少水？

　 —I need two bottles of water. 我需要两瓶水。
