 live为不及物动词“住，居住”，其后若跟名词则必须在名词前加适当的介词。

2. 辨析: speak, say, talk与tell

speak只表示“讲某种语言”时是及物动词，其余情况下是不及物动词。例如

say为动词“说”，say必须与说话的内容一起出现在句中。例如：

talk为动词“谈论, 讨论”的意思, 常用于talk about sth. (with sb.)词组中, 意为“(与某人)谈论某事”。例如：____________________ ___________________________________

tell为动词“告诉”, 常用于词组tell sb. sth.或tell sth. to sb.中, 意为“告诉某人某事”。例如：

3. What countries are east of China?

   这是由what country引导的特殊疑问句。特殊疑问句是由一个特殊疑问词加上一个一般疑问句构成，如：When will you come here?

表达方向的词都可以与介词________构成固定短语。如：

south of “……的南部”      west of “……的西部”

4. What else do you know about China? else 副词，意为“除……以外；其他”。如：Who else do you know?       What else can you see?

【辨析】else; other

两者都有“别的；其他的”意思，但用法不同。else常用于疑问代词或不定代词之后。如： What ________ did he say? I don’t want anything ________.

other做定语，用于名词之前。例如：Do you have any ________ things?

5.know about表示间接地“知道，了解，有关……的情况”而动词know表示“认识，了解”具体的人或事，意为“知道，懂得，熟悉”等，后面直接接宾语，
