Module 7 Unit 1 There is a cat in the tree.

一、教学目标：

　　1、理解：there is, animal ,can , see, help, over there....

　　2、初步感知”there be”结构。

　　3、感知英语和汉语在表达人物存在时的差异。

　二、重点难点：

　　1、掌握本单元词汇及句型：animal ，can ，see ，“there be”句型。

　　2、用“there be”句型描述图片，说明两幅图的异同。

　三、教学用具：

　　词卡片、图片、挂图、点读笔等。

四、教学过程

（一）Warm-up:

1、  Greetings :

Good morning boys and girls. 

Sit down, please.

How are you today ?

Nice to meet you.  边打招呼边握手

2、 I’m so happy today. Now A chant for you, Let’s listen .

听chant” How many animals can you see…”

边听边指 animals  elephant  tiger

听完后问  boys and girls .What animals can you see？ （elephant  tiger）

Yes, great .  Elephanst are animals.   Tigers are animals…

And they are animals,too.

Oh ... Dolphins are animals .Koala bears are animals . A giraffe is an animal. Is it tall?(Yes, it’s tall.)

A panda is an animal.What colour is it? (Black and white.) A monkey is an animal. A whale is an animal. They are animals.

The hamster is an animal. Is it small?  Oh, tortoise is an ~~. Look , a rabbit , what colour is it? Is it cute ? CUTE(动作) Look!指猫、 鱼、狗 animal animal animal ...they are animals. And they are animals. 出示词条animals   A A ǣ ǣ ǣ  animals  animals  They are animals, are they cute ? (Yes.)  I think so . Animals are our friends.   Do you have any animal friends  ?

(二、)NEW  CONCEPT

1、And I have an animal friend. Guess, what is it ?拿着我的猫的照片反面向着学生。

（Dog...） Oh , look . What is it ? (A cat.)猫的图片。

What colour is it ?  Is it small?  Is it cute ?  Do you love it?

拿到学生中间去问。(I love it. She’s cute . )   Yes , my cat is cute , and I love it very much. 猫的照片贴脸上。But it is so naughty.  （放猫在各个地方的图片）She always goes everywhere.

But today she is in trouble. Look, 在树上 where is she?

She is in the tree. 把照片贴白板的树上 The tree is very tall. She can’t get down.  Is she happy?  If you were my cat, the tree is very tall ↑. what will you say?  我做出动作引导 （HELP! HELP!）

Now who can say? 学生都模仿模仿

Oh,my cat is so sad, can you help it ?  Please come here and have a try. 学生上来试试能不能够得到。2人就好。

① say: I can help.  Oh, what a pity! You can’t help my cat.  Thank you all the same.

②say:I can help.   Oh,you are a good boy\girl ,but my cat can’t get down from the tree.

 Oh….  What should I do ? Let’s watch a video and find out:

①Who comes to help my cat?

② Is my cat safe at last?

2.Now let’s watch a vedio.整体放一遍。

3.分图讲：

Oh, boys and girls, look! Is my cat happy now?  (No.)

Who comes to help the cat?  出示PPT(Sam and Daming.)

What do they say?

 音频播放句子， 讲cute ，练习2遍 It’s a cute cat.

Now what does Sam say ?出示PPT，音频。

Can you help the cat ?  I can help. 试试。

Look, boys and girls, Can Sam help the cat ?  ( No.)

Why?  (Sam is short. ) 词条 short  sh-or--t

Sam is short.

Can you help the cat ,Sam?  (No,I’m short.) Thank you any way ,please go back.

Sam is short, the tree is very tall.词条tall t--all  tall

 The tree is very tall. 动作2人说说。

I am tall .  ~~is short.  Now ~~is tall. I am short.

Sam is short. The tree is very tall.

So, can Sam help the cat ? (No.)

Oh ,What should we do?  Do you have any good ideas?  放个想办法的图片，提示孩子说办法。

Oh , look.  PPT出示

听完两幅图。

演示这两幅图。练习There 和 over there.

指教室里：There is a book over there.

There is a desk over there.

There is a chair over there.

演2-3幅图：This time who wants to be Sam, who wants to be Daming?  2 组。

Ok, Thank you.  Who wants to try. (Let me try.)

Oh, Daming and Sam, can you help the cat ?  (No.)

Why?出示视频

We are short , Daming. 跟读两遍。

Oh, What a shame!  Look, is the cat happy now ?  (No.)

I think so, maybe it is very hungry and scared. What can we do now?

Emm... Good ideas. Maybe we can look for the policeman.  Oh, where is the policeman?

Oh, a policeman is coming. 放黑板上。 指着“There is a policeman over there.”

Now ,you are the policeman.找个学生戴着警察帽子。

Boys and girls …What do you want to say the policeman?  找个学生偷偷告诉他（Can you help us / the cat）

警察会说，You will say…(Ok!)

Thank you ,you are very kind.

Now can the policeman help the cat ? (Yes.)

Oh,perfect. Now my cat get down from the tree . 猫摘下来。

What should we say to the policeman? (Thank you.)

Oh，look ! Is the cat happy, now?  (yes.)

If you're the cat, what will you say?  (Thank you !)

4.再播放视频跟读模仿。

Emm…My cat is happy，and I’m happy,too.

Now boys and girls let’s watch the story again ， then follow it .

①播放视频，出现猫叫，模仿猫叫。Miaow…Who can imitate/read ? (Me./I can.)

Let’s go on.

②There is a chair/ table/policeman over there. 各指读2人。

③最后一幅图模仿猫叫，2人。

5.小组展示：

Excellent,everyone.  Now read the story：

Now I amDaming, can you be the cat, Sam and the policeman act the story ?(I can.)

叫三人展示I am Daming , I am Sam , I am the cat and I am the policeman展示故事

Are you clear ? （Yes.）

This time, who wants to try ? 再来一组展示

Excellent,everyone.can you act the story in your groups?

Great, now I’ll give you 5 minutes to prepare , ok ?

倒计时5 分钟。转小组观察角色扮演。
