The United Natins General Assembly respnded by designating 22 March 1993 as the first Wrld Water Day(WWD).Each year, Wrld Water Day highlights a specific aspect f freshwater. Hw can we save water? It’s a prblem fr the whle wrld, but Beijing N. 109 Middle Schl’s “green team” has cme up with ne way. The team is wrking n ways t save energy and resurces (资源). They fund that in mst Beijing cmmunities (社区), mstly drains (排水) straight t the grund. What a waste! The team put three big plastic barrels (桶) in places arund the cmmunity t cllect the water. The water-saving experiment prved a success. Peple used it t water flwers and wash cars. Everyne thinks it’s a gd idea.

Earth is ur mtherland in space. And n Earth,n water, n lives. Hwever, with the develpment f human beings, Earth is in great danger nw. Water, the surce f life, is in really bad cnditin t.
