上面例子中主要行为动词后面的动词都采用“t + 动词原形”的结构,我们把这种结构称为动词不定式。
一、动词不定式(‘t-infinitives’)?
动词不定式是一种非谓语动词,在句中能作主语、宾语、定语、表语和宾语补足语。没有人称和数的变化,构成形式为t+动词原形。其否定形式形式是“nt+动词不定式”。本模块介绍动词不定式置于谓语动词后作宾语,表明意图、计划、决定或希望。
跟不定式作宾语的动词:
agree,ask,decide,chse,cme,expect,hpe,fail,happen,help,learn,mean,manage,ffer,plan,prmise,refuse,seem,wait,:The driver hped t see the ppsite car in time. 司机希望及时看见对面的小汽车。 I want t knw the answer t yur questin. 我想知道你那道问题的答案。
接不定式作宾语的动词一般有:三个希望两答应,两个要求莫拒绝; 设法学会做决定,不要假装在选择。

1. 既可接动词不定式又可接动词的ing形式作宾语,意思差别不太大的动词有: begin, start, cntinue等。eg:Then I started watching/ t watch TV. 然后我开始看电视。2. 后接动词不定式或动词的ing形式作宾语,意思差别较大的动词有:
有一些使役动词和感官动词接不定式作宾语补足语时,不定式要省略t。但在变为被动语态时,必须加上t。这些动词有hear, see, watch, ntice, let, make, have等。eg: The bss made the wrkers wrk fifteen hurs a day. →The wrkers were made t wrk fifteen hurs a day by the bss.老板让工人一天工作十五个小时。

英语中,有些动词后可接两个宾语,即指人的间接宾语和指物的直接宾语。结构为“动词+间接宾语(sb.)+直接宾语(sth.)”。有时还可用“动词+直接宾语(sth.) +t/fr+间接宾语(sb.)”结构来表达。一般来讲,fr表示“为某人”,而t表示“给某人”。
