    Back at the grcery stre, my wife and I reached ur uneasy cashier. I grabbed a bttle f water frm a nearby cler and handed it t her. “We felt bad abut hw that man treated yu and wanted t buy this fr yu,” I said. Her face lit up, and we talked as she scanned ur items. She tld us she had been wrking that evening thrugh severe ft pain and wuld be having surgery later that week. We wished her well in her recvery, and she thanked us as we left.

    My Bxing Experience
    This year I jined bxing class. My friend Lea and I were the nly 1 in the class. We gt t thrw ur first punches (拳击) and learned hw we shuld stand. I still didn't knw hw t d it well, but I felt that chsing the bxing class was the right decisin. Mr Vernn, ur bxing teacher, made us wrk hard and sweat. The bxing pads (拳击护具) were my favurite, but my punches weren't 2 enugh.

In my case, they started t discurage me. I didn't have the strength t think they were wrng, and a part f me thught that they were speaking the 9 . I hid it inside my heart because I thught that shwing that I was dubting myself wuld make it wrse.
    I remember ne particular practice where I was mad and angry, and my punches suddenly felt strnger and faster. I was 10 , yet I had a feeling in me that it was there all alng. I just didn't have that anger in me. After practice, Mr Vernn pinted ut that I was getting strnger and better, which really made me feel mre 11 and shwed me that what the thers were saying abut me was wrng. I had finally fund the strength I needed. The fllwing practices, Mr Vernn was impressed with my hks and uppercuts, because they were getting 12 .
    This experience taught me that bxing requires a lt f wrk and effrt, but it als taught me nt t feel 13 abut what peple say. If yu fcus n yur strng pints and imprve n yur weak nes, there is n reasn fr yu t feel disappinted. Bxing taught me hw t fight, and defend myself physically and mentally, and shw that shrt girls can d anything if they have the 14 t prve peple wrng.
