    Mars is a cld, bleak wasteland, with very thin air that we Earthlings culd never breathe. Hwever, many f the pictures ur telescpes, rbiters, and rvers have sent back shw signs that liquid water might have been n the surface f Mars lng ag. Als, we can see ice caps at the nrth and suth ples.
    All these signs f water are very exciting. Why? Because n Earth, almst everywhere there is water, there is life. Whether the water is biling ht r frzen, sme srt f creature seems t thrive in it. Is it the same n ther planets? If water nce flwed n Mars, did life nce thrive there t? Or, maybe there is still water n Mars, nly it has gne undergrund. Culd there be tiny life frms—like bacteria—n Mars even nw?
    NASA's Mars Explratin Prgram is abut "Fllwing the Water." Even if we d nt find life n Mars, if there is water, perhaps smeday Mars culd be inhabited by us!
