一、教材内容分析
本课时的教学内容为restaurant, pst ffice, bank, grcery, crssrads等表示场所和地理位置的词汇；以及acrss frm, next t, between等表示方位的词汇。
二、学生情况分析
四年级的学生通过三年半时间的英语学习，已经具备一定的学习英语的能力，也具备了一定的英语知识储备，为这节课的顺利学习打下了一定的基础。比如他们在二年级上册的第四单元学习过场所词汇，为这节课学习课程打下了基础。他们还学习了功能句：Where is the …? It’s … 都为这节课教学顺利开展打下基础。
三、教学目标
通过本节课的学习，学生能够达到以下目标：
1. 能够听懂、会说 restaurant, pst ffice, bank, grcery, crssrads等表示场所和地理位置的词汇；以及acrss frm, next t, between 等表示方位的词汇；能够根据语境恰当使用，并能借助拼读规律认读和识记生词。
2. 能够询问并描述某个场所在什么位置。
3. 能够根据语境，选择本课所学词汇将句子补充完整，并且做到书写规范。
四、教学重难点
1.教学重点：能够听懂、会说restaurant, pst ffice, bank, grcery, crssrads等表示场所和地理位置的词汇；以及acrss frm, next t, between等表示方位的词汇。
2.教学难点：Restaurant的读音及描述某个场所在什么位置。
五、教学步骤
1. 热身（唱一唱）。

（1）单词教学
①教学restaurant

设计意图：将所学知识和学生生活有机结合起来，一方面增强学生综合语言运用能力，另外一个方面让学生将所学知识有机整合起来，表述生活中自己的喜好及其理由。

设计意图：激活学生已有的知识和生活经验。
