a. if条件句：(1)含有的句子的表意功能：
if引导的条件状语从句作出假设，用will谈论结果。
(2)用来连接主句和从句的连词是if，含义是“如果”。
(3)If yu d，yu’ll be late. 的另一种写法：
Yu’ll be late if yu d.
主句是yu’ll be late，用的是一般将来时态。
从句是if yu d，用的是一般现在时态。
(4)在If yu d，yu’ll be late. 和If yu d，yu’ll be srry. 中，d是替代词，分别指的是take the bus和stay at hme。
b. shuld：(1)shuld是情态动词，意为“应该”。
(2)shuld后接动词原形，其否定式为shuldn’t，一般疑问句形式：把shuld提到句首。
