Period 3 (Section B 1a-1e) 设计说明 本课是一节听说课。首先以学校才艺展示为话题展开听力练习，让学生进一步体会目标语言在真实语境中的运用。因此在听的时候，应重点放在对人物的表演进行评价的最高级形式上。然后再通过对对话的复述，检查学生的语言输出能力，巩固听的效果。 教学目标 1. 知识目标： (1)掌握单词：creative，performer。 (2)掌握句型：“My cousin Li Jing is the funniest person I know.”“Who was the best performer?”“Steven is the worst performer.”“Vera is the most creative performer.” 2. 能力目标：能听懂评论才艺表演的对话，并能用最高级进行评价。 3. 情感目标：了解周围人的才能，能正确地、有礼貌地对别人的才艺作出评价。 重点难点 1. 重点：掌握本课时含有最高级的句型。 2. 难点：能听懂评论才艺表演的对话，用最高级对其进行评价。 教学准备 教具：多媒体课件，录音机，磁带，图片。 教学过程 Step 1 Revision & Warming up 1. T：What’s the best clothes store in town? Ss：I think Aiyi is the best. T：Why do you think so? S1：Well. It has the best clothes，and you can buy clothes the most cheaply there. ... 2. Exercises (1)Lily gets up earlier (early) than Lucy. (2)Who runs more slowly (slowly)，Tom or Jim? (3)This book is the most interesting (interesting) of all. (4)She is the most careful (careful) in her class. (5)Who is the latest (late)，Jim，Tom or Jack? (6)I think beef noodles are the most delicious (delicious) of all. Step 2 Presentation Show pictures to the students. (1) T：What do you think of the man? Ss：He is very creative. T：Who’s the most creative person you know? ... (2) T：What do you think of the performers? Ss：They are talented and funny. Teach the new words：creative，performer. Work on 1a. (1)Write these words and phrases next to their opposites in the chart. Answers：most boring—most creative loudest—quietest worst—best most serious—funniest (2)Read the words and phrases correctly. 2. Work on 1b. (1)Read and translate the sentence in the speech bubble. (2)Ask the students to write eight sentences about people they know. Use the words in 1a. (3)Ask two or three students to read their sentences. Step 4 Listening 1. Work on 1c. T：Look at the pictures，and try to describe the pictures and present some phrases like talent show，upside down and so on. What can people do in the pictures? This was a school talent show. Many students and teachers took part in it. They all had a great time. Now let’s listen to the tape. Match the pictures with the performers. (1)Students just listen for the first time.
