1.   语法精讲

（一）there be 结构

01.  There be句型变一般疑问句，be动词提至句首，句尾加问号。

Is there an apple on the table? (Yes, there is. No, there isn’t)

Is there any milk in the glass? (Yes, there is. No, there isn’t)

Are there any apples on the table? (Yes, there are. No, there aren’t.)

注：在There be句型中，some用于肯定句，any用于否定句和疑问句中。

02. and和or在there be句型中，and用于肯定句，or用于否定句。

There is a ruler, an eraser and a pen on the desk. 书桌上有一把直尺， 一块橡皮和一支钢笔。

There is not a ruler, an eraser or a pen on the desk. 书桌上没有一把直尺， 一块橡皮和一支钢笔。

03、There be句型的就近原则。当主语是两个或两个以上的名词时，谓语动词要跟它最近的那个名词的数保持一致。

There is a book and some pens on the floor.

There are some pens and a book on the floor.

04、There is(are) no……在此句型中，no后边的名词之前没有冠词、数词等定语。

There is no milk in my glass. 我杯子里没有牛奶。

   There are no apples in the box. 盒子里没有苹果。

05. 关于数量的提问及回答 

How many （复数）are there ...?           There is/There are数量.

在...有多少个...？                         有... 

例句：A：How many boys are there in the classroom?  

教室里有多少男孩？    

 B：There are twenty. / There is one . （有20个。/ 有1个。）

How much + 不可数名词 + is there + 介词短语？

例:  A:  How much milk is there in the glass?

     B: There is some milk in the glass.

（二）基数词与序数词

数词分为基数词和序数词，基数词表示数量， 序数词表示顺序

基数词的用法

A:表示数量

如： I have three apples.

There are seven days in a week.

B：表示时间

如：It is six O’clock.

It is twenty to seven. =It is six forty. 

It is ten past seven= it is seven ten.

序数词的构成和用法

1. 序数的构成

（1）一般来说， 序数词是由相应的基数词加词尾th 构成. 如：

four +th ----fourth第四 , six+th ---sixth第六, seven+th ----seventh , 第七 ten+th----tenth第十

(2) 下面这些基数词在变序数词时，有特殊的变化，必须牢记

One--- first , two – second , three- third., five-fifth, eight-eighth, nine-ninth, twelve-twelfth

B. 序数词的用法

（1）序数词在使用时， 一般加上定冠词the ,如：

the first book, the second floor, the third day

（2）序数词表示日期

如 : May 1st , June 2nd , July 3rd

（3）表示编号

如： the first lesson = Lesson one， the second page =Page Two
