    Step4. Presentatin
    1. Ask the students t write dwn the new wrds they have learned frm units 1-3t create their wn wrd bank.
    2. Tell the students t chse frm their wrd bank and write dwn their favrite wrds.
    3. Ask the students if they have learned any ther wrds by themselves. If they have, tell them t write the wrds in the ntebk.
    4. Ask the students t read thrugh units 1-3again. Try t find ut their favrite sentences and then write them dwn.
    5. Ask the students if they find any wrds r sentences are difficult fr them. Tell them t keep a recrd f thse difficult wrds and sentences and t revise them later.
    Step5. Practice
    1. Ask the pupils t full in the blanks.
    2. Ask individual pupils t read alud their sentences with the whle class.
    Step6. Hmewrk

    2. Explain that Mary has a tthache t. She is at the dentist’s ffice. Play the pupil’s bk cassette.
    3. Ask the students t read jack’s diary. Explain that the passage is abut Jack’s activities n a rainy Sunday. Then tell the pupils t chse the wrds in the bx t cmplete his diary.
    Step5. Practice
    1. Play the pupil’s bk cassette. Ask the pupils t listen t the cassette and check their answers.
    2. Ask the students t fill in the blanks with the crrect wrds.
    3. Ask individual students t read alud their sentences t check the answers with the whle class.
    Step6. Hmewrk
    Finish the wrkbk frm page27.

    Teaching Aims: Reviewing and cnslidating verb phrases and sentences f Unit 3
    Teaching Aids: CD, paper strips f verb phrases f Unit 3
    Teaching Steps:
    1. Greetings.
    2. Daily English: Wh’s n duty tday? Hw are yu? What day is tday? What’s the weather like tday?
    3. Shwing the paper strips t the class and ask them read ut and act accrdingly.
    4. Play the CD and explain t the students that Mr Li is talking t his daughter n the phne and then ask sme individuals t cmplete the cnversatin .
    5. Let the class practice the cnversatin in pairs and then ask the students t rle-play the cnversatin pair by pair .
    6. Ask the class t make dialgues in pairs accrding t persnal experience and then perfrm in the frnt f the classrm.

    B. Ask the students t read the sentences belw the calendar and tell them sme sentences are crrect but sme are nt.
    C. Ask the students t put a tick in the bx if the sentence is crrect.
    D. Use transparency t check the students’ answers.

    A. Tell the student t read the nte written by Tm’s father t the teacher and lk at the pictures.
    B. Ask the students t number the pictures in the crrect rder and then write a sentence under each picture.
