male adj.男性的，雄性的：

【拓展】①后接动词不用动名词，要用不定式；manage to do sth.的意思是“设法把某事做成”，相当于succeed in doing sth.，与try to do sth.(设法做某事——不一定成功)不同，如下面一句中的tried不可用managed：
