A recent survey f 2,000 Americans reveals the average shpper wastes $1,493.93 n fd per year. That’s almst a fifth f their grcery bill after every shpping trip. One tenth f respndents claim they “never” purchase fd they dn’t end up eating, while three in 10 say this is smething they “always” d.
Half f respndents prefer t head t the grcery stre alne, and when they d, half are mre likely t stick t their list and 36% are less likely t buy fd they dn’t want r need.
Keeping the list in mind is imprtant, as 38 percent are mre likely t let fd be wasted if it wasn’t riginally n their shpping list.
