    Great inventions

                                                           设计理念:1以学生为主体,通过小组合作达到自主学习。学生是言语活动的主体,也是言语能力发展的主体。以促进学生主体的言语活动为开展英语教学的主要形式和实现教学目的主要环节。

    2为本位的课程观,着重培养语言的运用能力,即言语。从英语语言知识的学习层面过渡到英语言语的学习层面。即通过语言实践,培养学生的听说读写能力,而不是仅停留在英语语言知识的掌握层面上。

    3基于实践的教学观,在教学中创设近似真实的语言实践环境,通过语篇阅读了解伟大的发明,体会发明源于生活,又服务于生活。激发孩子对发明创造的兴趣,使学生爱上科学,爱上发明创造。

                                                     教材分析:1本套教材为三年级起点,五年级下册,采用模块建筑式编写体系,全书分为四个模块,每个模块分为3个单元,全书分为12个单元,本课为第10单元,属于第四模块。整个第四模块属于整本教材的复习和整理模块,不再讲授新的句型,只有少数新的单词出现。

    2每个模块下的单元主题,都围绕每个模块的主题设计和开展教学活动。本课Great inventions《伟大的发明》,围绕模块主题Things we enjoy《我们欣赏的事物》,开展教学活动。通过动画,猜谜游戏,排序,歌谣,对话问答,做调查等活动,采用参与、探究、合作等学习方式,在语用中学习英语语言知识和语言技能。

    3 本课通过两个语篇Listen and sayRead a story,由浅入深将学生带入发明创造的语言环境,让学生了解到发明源于生活中的启示,要注意观察身边的事物,其实科学并不遥远,就在我们的身边。通过两组练习,猜谜Read and write和排序Put sentences in order.加深学生对课文内容的理解,对语篇学习起到巩固作用。通过一首Listen and enjoy激发孩子们创造的欲望。通过Ask and answer使孩子了解到伟大的发明对现实产生的意义。通过Do a survey活动了解到孩子们内心对于发明创造的真实向往。让孩子有机会说出自己将创造的伟大发明和原因。在Culture corner

    中介绍了中国古代的四大发明,与活动主题Great inventions伟大的发明相呼应,再一次扣题。

                                                     学情分析:1学生与本课相关的原有知识储备。句型:。。。can。。。的用法;能分辨一般疑问句与特殊疑问句;句型What are you going to …?以及回答I’m going to…,了解其含义及基本用法

    2学生现有认知能力的分析。学生能够按照教师提供的辅助资料进行课前预习,在课上能进行小组内的探究和合作,从而进行自主学习。

    3学生关于发明的原有生活经验。每名学生都有自己不同的生活经验,孩子们到学习共同学习的同时,也带来了他们不同的生活经验。

    4学生的情感分析。每名学生对于英语学习都有着不同程度的好奇心和求知欲,对于科学发明也有着不同程度的热情和向往。

    5学生的身心特征分析。学生的学习阶段为五年级下学期。年龄为1011岁。属于小学高年级阶段,思想渐渐趋于成熟,即将进入小学阶段最高年级。有自己独立的思维和见解。遇到问题能较快找出解决问题的方式与方法。大部分学生知道学习英语的重要性,在课堂上能表现出积极的情绪和专注的状态。但是在课后练习上缺乏主动性和自觉性。整体存在两极分化的趋势,即学的好,学的会的同学就越发爱学英语,反之则越发不喜欢英语学习。前者占大多数,按照百分比约为90%左右。

            教学目标:

    1.  知识目标:

    1)掌握四会单词:invention,watch,anywhere,travel,invent,myself,camera

    2)能用句型I thinkis a great invention.说出自己心中伟大的发明。

    能用句型People can 说出它是伟大发明的原因

    2.能力目标:

    1)能通过小组合作的方式,自主学习,探索发现,介绍课文中提到的重大发明,并说出原因。

    2)能听读懂Listen and say 68页课文语篇内容的含义,在理解的基础上,完成教师指定的操作练习。

    3)能运用句型I thinkis a great invention.说出自己认为的发明;能运用句型People can说出认为的原因。

    3.情感目标:

    1)通过课堂中的不同环节的教学设计,创设情境,让孩子在近似真实的生活环境中,学习生活情景中的语言,调动学生的学习热情,激发学生英语学习的兴趣。

    2)通过小组合作,自主学习,让学生在交流运用语言的过程中,学会互助,合作解决问题。

    3)激发学生对发明的兴趣,培养学生树立科学意识,对科学的向往,从小爱科学。

    4)通过学习本课,了解到古代的四大发明,让孩子更加热爱我们的祖国,树立民族自信心,为身为一个中国人而感到骄傲和自豪。

    设计意图: 以语篇教学为主要教学目的,提升英语阅读能力。通过猜谜小游戏,进行单词扩展,继续巩固新知,并逐步扩展;通过跟读表演课文,在真实的情境下,运用语言,体会语言的语用性;根据教师提供的资料卡,进行问答练习,不仅是对基本句型进行扩展练习,而且在阅读资料卡的同时也是一个小的语篇阅读练习;扩展阅读的设计均为本节课的新知句型,让学生在阅读的过程中,体会到一种成就感,既巩固了新知,也拓展了知识面,同时也检验了本节课的学习效果。
