    Teaching the new lesson

    阅读训练(Reading)

    Before reading

    1. Get students list some features of Chinese folk music and write them down.
    2. Practice function structures by talking about Chinese folk music.
    3. Help students to list some Chinese musical instruments by using some pictures.Teach the translation method of Chines musical instruments.
    4. To play the music of Erquan Yingyue and get students to free talk about the name and instrument.

    Fast reading

    1. To show some questions before reading and try to get the meanings.
    2. Get students to scan the whole passage and the picture and try to answer the questions.
    3. Check the answers together and circle the key words and phrases.
    4. Play the tapes for students to read after the them and match the main ideas of each paragraph on the blackboard.
    1. Check the answers one by one.

    Detail reading

    1. Get students to read the first paragraph carefully and try to divide it into two part:Before and after the writer looked up the history of Erquan Yingyue.
    2. Give several incomplete sentences and get students to fill in the blanks by using the words and expressions in paragraph one.
    3. Explain this paragraph clearly and check the answers one by one.
    4. Get students to think about why The writer began to understand the sadness in the music.
    5. Get students to read the second paragraph and try to list personal information about Abing.
    6. Explain second paragraph in detail and check the answers together.
    7. Use a timeline to list the difficulties encountered by Abing. Have students discuss the possible living environment for Abing..
    8. To show the question about the last paragraph and get students read it quickly and find the answer.
    1. Explain this paragraphs carefully and check the answers together.
    2. List Abings achievements on the blackboard and get students to learn.

    Post reading

    1. Get students to skim the whole passage quickly and find the answers in 2b.
    2. Check the answers together and underline some relative sentences.

    1. Get students to talk about the reason that Abing can success. Help them to list some conditions for success
    2. Ask students read the passage again and fill in the blanks in 2c.
    3. Help students to translate the words in the form and fill in the blanks and circle the relative words.
