1. interesting/interested 

（1）adj. 有趣的。是由interest加后缀“-ing”得来的。通常用在连系动词之后充当表语或用来修饰名词充当定语。

（2）interested，形容词，意思为“感兴趣的”，常用在词组“be interested in”中，该词组的意思为“对……感兴趣”，后接名词或v-ing形式。如：

My sister is very interested in the interesting joke. 我妹妹对这个有趣的笑话很感兴趣。

2. dress

（1）用作及物动词时的意思为“穿衣服”。如：

The boy can’t dress himself. 这男孩还不会自己穿衣服。 

（2）dress 用做不及物动词，其后需用加上适当的介词才能接宾语。如：

My uncle dressed himself up as Father Christmas on the party. 我叔叔在晚会上装扮成圣诞老人。

（3）dress用作名词时是可数名词，意思为“礼服或连衣裙”“妇女的外衣”或“男女外衣的总称”。如：

My mother is buying an evening dress . 我母亲正在买晚礼服。

3. let’s /let us

let’s是let us的缩写形式，用来征求对方意见，建议包括对方一起参加某一活动；而let us只是用来征求意见，被征求者不参加该活动。试比较：

Let’s watch TV. 让我们一起看电视吧。（建议包括被询问者在内大家一起看电视）

Let us watch TV. 让我们看电视吧。（被询问者不看电视，只是询问其是否同意“我们”看电视）
