“Why are some animals in danger now?” Tom asked.
“Some of their homes are destroyed (破坏) by pollution. Also, the land is used for homes, farms, and highways. That leaves fewer places for animals to live. So some land has to be left as national parks for wildlife,” said Uncle Max.
