    【教材分析】

    本节课选自陕旅版三年级上册第五单元第二课时,是一堂基于听说的会话课,以轻松活泼的表现形式将所要学句型- What do you have?- I have a / an ….展现。通过词汇学习,引出新知-走进文本,学习新知-再次整合,教学内容-走出文本,学以致用的教学规律,遵循词不离句,句不离篇的教学模式,让学生在真实的环境下学习和积累日常会话所需的词汇和句型,使学生在学中用,用中学,激发学生学习英语的兴趣。培养学生的综合运用语言的能力。

    Teaching aims

    1.Knowledge aims

    At the end of the class, the Ss will be able to:

    (1) Review the words about school things: bag, pen, pencil, book, ruler, eraser, crayon.

    (2) Master sentence structures:

    - What do you have?

    - I have a / an ….

    -How nice!

    -Thank you.

    (3) Learn the sentence structures:

    - Do you have a / an….

    - Yes, I do. / No, I don’t.

    2. Ability aim

    Improve the abilities of speaking and listening according to the cooperation teaching method.

    3. Emotion aims

    (1) Encourage the students to be interested in English.

    (2) Tell the students to be friendly to the school things.

    Teaching Steps

    Step 1 Warming up and Revision

    1.Sing the song “A B C” to start the new lesson, and then greet each other.

    2.Then teacher uses a bag to review the words about the school things. Let the students guess what is in it.

    (Purpose of the Designing: Use the song to start the new lesson, and make the Ss interested in English. Then use the objects to review the words, and it can make the students easy to know what we will learn today.)

    Step2 Leading in and presentation

    1.The teacher uses the objects about school things to lead in the new content. For example, I have a bag. (Lead in the title.)

    2.The teacher pretends to have a question which is “what do you have?”(Lead in the key sentence structures.)

    3.And lead the students to answer the question with “I have a / an….”.Then the teacher tells the students how to praise others’ school things.

    4.At the same time tell the students how to do when they are praised.

    5.Show the complete sentence structures:

    - What do you have?

    - I have a / an ….

    -How nice!

    -Thank you.

    (Purpose of the Designing: Use the different kinds of objects to learn the new sentences, and then use the new sentences to finish the conversation. At the same time, tell the student how to do when you are praised. Because English is a kind language, so speaking English well is more important, and the Ss the best way to learn words is putting the words into the sentences, and use them more.)

    Step 3 Practice

    1.Pair wok (Ask and answer)

    Ask the students to make up the conversations with their desk mates, and one minute later, show their conversations.

    2.Listen and do

    Ask the students to listen to the teacher, and do the action:

       -Show me your     .

    - What do you have?

    - I have a / an ….

    (Purpose of the designing: The teacher sets up two activities to improve their abilities of listening and speaking.)

    Step4 Expansion and Consolidation

    According to the guessing game, expand the new sentence structures.

    1.The teacher puts the school thing into the bag, and then calls a student to get one of them, but the others can’t see it. The teacher asks “Do you have a / an…?”, then lead the students to answer the questions with “Yes or No.”

    2.Then the teacher makes the sentences complete “Yes, I do. / No, I don’t.” And then tells the students how to answer the sentences with “Do you…?”

    3.Exchange the roles, let the students ask the teacher with “Do you have a…?”

    4.The teacher shows a broken school thing to tell the students to be friendly to their school things.

     (Purpose of the designing: The teacher helps the students the difficult points according to the game, maybe it can help the students easy to understand. At the same time, tell the students to be friendly to the school things.)

    Step5 Summary

    Use a chant to summarize the lesson, and make the students easy to master the key points in the lesson.

     (Purpose: Use a chant to summarize the lesson to make it easy to remember the key points in this lesson. At the same time, it can make the students interested in English.)

    Step6 Homework

    1.Sing the chant to your parents.

    2.Play the guessing game with your desk mates like:

    Do you have a / an…?

    Yes, I do. / No, I don’t.

    3.Make up the conversations like this:

    - What do you have?

    - I have a / an ….

    -How nice!

    -Thank you.

    (Purpose: The teacher sets up three kinds of homework, the first one and the second one can make them interested in English and share their achievements with others. The third one can practice students’ oral English.)
