【Teaching aims】

Using Ability Task:（Talking about going on to Middle School）

Sentences: Are you going to middle school this September?

                I will miss you.

【Important and difficult points】

Learning with general future tense describes your plans and what will happen in the future. This module further reviews the "be going to..." The pattern, can be created for the students real life situation, through the text dialogue to understand some of the lessons learned, as well as the feelings of the children said goodbye between, through the communication to improve students' comprehensive ability of using language learning this unit dialogue, apply classroom learning in life.

Tape recorder, photos, word cards, and ppt.

【Teaching process】

Period One

I. Warming-up：

1．Ss. follow the tape and sing a song

T：In what situation, we will sing this song? Ss. talk about their feelings.

2．T: Which grade are you in? You are going to go to middle school. What middle school do you know? What are we going to learn in middle school? Do you know? You’ll have more subjects

II. Reviewing.

PPT shows some activities: “play soccer, play the piano, go camping, learn English\ Math\geography…”

Ss. practice: In middle school, I’m going to …”

III. Present the task:

1．Put the chart on the blackboard and ask the children to look at the picture carefully. 

2．Play the cassette and circle the new words.

3．Play the cassette and ask some questions.

4．Teach the new words in different ways.

5．Play the cassette again and pause after each utterance for the children to repeat.

6．Practice in groups and act out the dialogue.
