    Module 2 Me, my family and friends Unit 2 My family

    教学目标

    1. Be able to understand and read stories with the help of illustrations.

     2. Be able to identify and explain the main members of the family: family, father, mother, grandfather, grandmother.

     3. I can introduce my father and mother to others.

    教学重点

     Read words: family, father, mother, grandfather, grandmother.

     Use the sentence pattern "who is she/he?"? This is... Introduce the main members of the family.  

    教学难点

    Understand the story with the help of pictures or recordings and read the story on the basis of understanding.

    教学准备

    Multimedia courseware, tape recorder, teaching material

    教学过程

    Step1. Warming-up

     Lead the students to review the Let's chant! From the previous lesson! Part, let students enter the learning state in a pleasant atmosphere.

     Step2. Presentation

     1. Import the story

     Teachers present the title This is my family, which can explain the meaning of family, and can also use family pictures to help students understand.

    Ask students to predict whose family the story will be about and who will be in the family.

     T: Whose family is it? Who are in the family? Let’s read the story!

     2. Learn words

     Present the scene

     A. The teacher presents the scene of Look and learn, asks the students who this is, and encourages them to say something.

     The teacher pointed to the picture of father and asked, "Who's he?", let the students answer, then present the word father, and demonstrate reading aloud. ".

    Write the words on the blackboard. Father, father. How are you. Fine, fine. Thank you. In the same way, show the pictures of mother, grandfather and grandmother respectively, and let the students learn.

     B. The teacher plays the recording and asks the students to listen carefully, pointing to the corresponding photos or people.

     3. Learn sentence patterns

     A.

    The teacher shows the scene of the Look and say and asks the Who's he/she? Focus on the meaning and usage of sentence patterns.

     A: Who’s she?

     B: She’s my mother. She can____.

     Use the above sentence pattern to ask students to answer according to the picture.

     Step3. Practice

     1. Dialogue performance: Introduce your family

     Step4. Summary

     Key words: family, father, mother, grandfather, grandmother
