    Tang Dynasty pets sang fr abut three centuries in different tnes. There were many famus pets living in the Tang perid, such as Li Bai, Du Fu, Bai Juyi and Li Shangyin.Pems f the Tang Dynasty edited in the Qing Dynasty is a cllectin f mre than 48,900 pems that were written by ver 2,200 pets. But it didn't cver all the pems f the Tang Dynasty.
    During the Tang Dynasty, pems were recited when lvers walked under the mnlight. Pems were als recited when sldiers fught n the battlefield. Peple recited them in the pen air r at temple fairs.
    Tang Dynasty pets wrte pems t win fame and als t develp their temperament(性情). They pured ut deep feelings fr their friends and criticized injustice in the wrld thrugh pems.
    In the Tang Dynasty schlars had t be pets. Their readers were nt nly peple f high scial psitin but als cmmn peple. Pets recited pems, wmen singers sang pems and ther ranks f peple, including ld wmen and children, read Tang pems. This atmsphere affected freigners wh visited the cuntry at that time. As a result, Tang petry was intrduced t sme adjacent cuntries, like Japan and Vietnam.
    Tang petry is a mst brilliant page in the histry f ancient Chinese literature. It's a miracle (奇迹) in the cultural histry f mankind. The Tang Dynasty was a pwerful empire with a vast territry. It inherited (继承) Chinese civilizatin that went back t ancient times, was cmbined with the best f ther cultures and adpted the benefits f ther natins in the wrld. Tang petry wasn't the nly spiritual wealth created by the Tang Dynasty peple. Philsphy and religin, handwriting and painting, and music and dance all gained new peaks f develpment. Tang petry, hwever, was the jewel in the crwn and its greatest achievement.
