    如此熟悉的identity 生活中我们经常听到ID这个词,可同学们是否知道它的真正含义呢?ID是英文Identity的缩写,是“身份标识号码”的意思,也称为“序列号或帐号”,是某个体系中相对唯一的编码。如“员工工号”、“身份证号码”、“计算机网址”等。
    identity的词源义即“同一”、“同一性”(sameness, neness, state f being the same)。同一性:同一类事物共同具有的典型特征,这个典型特征是这类事物区别于其他事物的地方。

    identify (v) 由identity (n) 加后缀 (i)fy构成,其词源义是“视为同一”。随着时间的发展衍生出“确认”、“识别;证实”,“表明……的身份”等释义,这几层意思都含有“识别同一性”的意思。下面我们具体看一下identify各层释义之间的关系。

    cmmand (n ) 的词源义为“cntrl”,即“控制、命令”,这也是它的基本义。
