Be able to readthem aloud correctly when communicating with others. 重点难点: Be able to read the words with the –ed ending correctly. 教学过程: Step 1 Presentation 1. Guide Ss to revise the sentences in Reading and say: please read the following sentences and pay attention to the verbs ending in the letters –ed. (1) They turned around. (2) “What happened?” Andy asked. (3) Andy helped me with my English. (4) He stood beside the tree and shouted “Help! Help!” (5) Andy picked up te little cat. 2. Ask Ss: When we read the verbs with –ed endings, how many ways are there to pronounce them? And then ask Ss to summarize the three knids of pronunciation and write them on the Bb: /t/ /d/ /id/ 3. Play the tape in Part A and guide Ss to imitate them after the tape. Listen to the tape and pay attention to the endings. Then read them out loud. 4. Guide Ss to pay attention to the pronunciation of each group of words. Then try to ask Ss to summarize the rules. 5. Ask Ss to read them again. Step 2 Activity 1. The teacher write the three kinds of pronunciation on the Bb. And put the cards with the words ending in –ed into the bag. Ask students to take it out randomly. Then stick it to the Bb under the sound. Work in groups. 2. Please read the words in different groups together out loud and give each groups marks to see which group is the best? 教学反思
