Have the students look at the picture for ‘Look and say’ on Student’s Book page 23 while they listen to the recording. Then ask them some questions

e.g., T: Who are they? What drinks do Eddie and Danny like?

Puppet is a kind of popular toy for most children. It is an easy way to catch their interest.

While-task procedure

Activity1

Show the flashcards of drinks to the students and have them quickly respond.

e.g.,

Activity2

Put the flashcards of drinks on the blackboard and have the students perform the following chant.

Activity1

Play the recording of the dialogue on Student’s Book page 22 several times until the students are familiar with it.

Have the students look at the wall picture for ‘Say and act’ on Student’s Book page 22

Teach them the following rhyme.

Then have the students act out the story in groups.
