（1）          游戏热身，复习玩具姓名

First, let’s review.

In the last lesson, we learned about toys and their names. Look, here are more toys. What are their names? Do you know? Let’s try.

（2）          观看视频，复习姓名及性别

Look, here come some new friends. Do you want to know them?

Are they boys or girls?  And what are their names?  Please watch the video and try to find out the answers.

Is it a boy or girl? What his/her name?

Read the story.

（1）          猜谜

Can you guess: What animals are they？

It is small. It has two long ears. It likes eating carrots.

What animal is it? Yes. It’s the rabbit.

How about this animal?

It is small and yellow. It has two wings. It can swim. What animal is it?

It’s the duck.

Oh, look at the picture. Where are they？ Yes, they are in the forest.

What are they doing in the forest? Yes, they are looking at something.

Can they see it clearly? No, they can’t.

What does the rabbit say?  The rabbit says（播放录音） Let’s repeat.

What does the rabbit say next？Can you guess?

Let’s have a look! 出示后提问：Can you repeat? （播放录音）

Look at the rabbit. Is she happy？No，she is not happy. How does she feel？She is very scared. Can you guess what happens?

听音模仿语气：

   They are so scared！Can you read like the rabbit and the duck ?

Let’s listen first! （播放录音）Can you have a try?

Is he a man? Is he a tiger? No! who’s he? He is a green monster! The monster is coming! Look at the rabbit and the duck. How do they feel?

They are so scared that they even sit on the ground!

Oh，look! Are they still scared? No. How does the duck feel？ She is so happy. Why?

Because the big green monster is an elephant. It is her friend! What does the duck say? Let’s listen! （播放录音）Can you repeat?

Look at the elephant. Is he happy? Yes, he is very happy. Why does he dress up as a green monster? 为什么大象把自己装扮成绿色的小怪物呢？

Oh, he is so naughty, he just wants to play a trick on his friends. 淘气的大象只是想和自己的朋友开个玩笑。

But look at the rabbit. She hides behind the grass. She is still scared.

But later the rabbit knows the green monster is the elephant. She is relaxed.

Next what does the rabbit say to the duck?  Can you guess?

So what’s the elephant’s name? （播放录音）

His name is Tiny. Can you repeat？

What does “tiny” mean?  It means very small.

理解Tiny的含义：

   Which one is tiny in the picture?  The bee is tiny. It is so small.

How about these two animals？ Which one is tiny？ Yes! You are right! The dog A is tiny.

The elephant’s name is Tiny. It means very small. Why does the elephant have the name Tiny?
