    2.与将来事实相反与将来事实相反的虚拟条件句:主句用“wuld/shuld/culd/might+动词原形”,从句用“if+主语+动词过去式(be的过去式用were)或shuld d或were t d”。If it rained/were t rain/shuld rain tmrrw,we wuld stay at hme.如果明天下雨,我们就待在家里。

    二、混合条件句在虚拟条件句中,有时主句和从句所表示的时间并不一致,此时应分别针对不同的时间使用不同的动词形式。If he had jined the army thirty years ag,he wuld be a general nw.如果30年前他参了军,他现在就是将军了。(从句表示与过去事实相反的假设,主句则表示与现在事实相反的假设。)
    三、含蓄条件句1.非真实条件句中的条件从句有时不表示出来,只暗含在上下文中,如用but fr,withut,with,therwise,r等。Given mre time,he culd have dne it better.再多给点时间,他可能会做得更好。Withut yur help,we culdn’t have finished ur wrk n time.没有你的帮助,我们不可能按时完成我们的工作的。He tld me abut yur cming,r I wuld have knwn nthing abut it.他告诉我你来了,否则我就一无所知了。
    2.有些句子没有任何表示条件的单词、短语或句子,但它们也需要用虚拟语气,因为条件意义隐含在上下文中。I wuld have met yu at the airprt this afternn,but I have been s busy.今天下午我本来是要到机场接你的,但我一直很忙。
    四、虚拟条件句的省略和倒装当虚拟条件从句的谓语动词是或含有were,shuld,had时,可以省去if,而将它们移到从句句首构成倒装结构。If I were in yur place,I wuldn’t d that.=Were I in yur place,I wuldn’t d that.如果我处在你的位置,我不会做那件事。If yu had turned t me,I wuld have helped yu.=Had yu turned t me,I wuld have helped yu.如果你请我帮忙,我就帮你了。If it shuld rain,we wuld put ff the match.=Shuld it rain,we wuld put ff the match.如果天下雨,我们就推迟比赛。
