【重点语法】

1．follow在此用作及物动词，意思是“跟随，追随”。

  1.A dog follows its master. 一只狗跟在它的主人后面。

  2.You go first and I'll follow.你先走，我跟着就来。

  Follow me.= Come with me.跟我来。

  [知识拓展]  following可以用作形容词，意思是“接着的，下面的”。

  [注意]  be sure (not) to do sth.用在祈使句中时，意思是“务必（不）要做某事”，“一定（不）要做某事”。

  (2) be sure of sth．的意思是“确信；对……有把握”。

  He is sure of success.他确信会成功的。

  (3) be sure +that从句  确信某事一定会发生。
