At the Hey Cat Cafe in Wuhan, Hubei prvince, yu can have bth. Abut 30 furry creatures, each wearing a red clth with its name n it, welcmed and served guests.
The emplyees were all black cats, mst f which had been abandned by their wners and rescued by caring peple. Once they struggled t survive in the crwded and chatic city. Nw they have smthed ut their pain and rebuilt their faith in humanity. And while curing themselves, the cats have lifted spirits f many city peple.
The cafe, r “Black Cat Re-Emplyment Service Center”, as the bss calls it, is run by the Wuhan Small Animal Prtectin Assciatin. One f the first nnprfit cat cafes in China, it pened in September 2021. Manager Du Fan, 41, said all the business incme will be used t help hmeless animals.
Du is als directr f the assciatin. He said that by pening the black cat cafe, he wants t break the prejudice against black cats, which are seen as bad luck in many films and TV peras. He added that he hped the cafe wuld be a platfrm fr peple t learn abut cats and prmte the idea f animal prtectin.（停20秒）
