Accrding t Shen Lin frm the Yellw River Cnservancy Cmmissin, thanks t the drnes, researchers at the cmmand center can get first-hand phts and infrmatin. “Researchers then update the 3D mdel accrding t the changes the drnes reprted. The newly updated mdel helps us test ur fldwater release plans in case we ever need t batten dwn the hatches,” said Shen.
Under the water and up in the sky, intelligent systems are helping t prtect the Yellw River Basin n all frnts. Accrding t the Ministry f Water Resurces, in the future, we can expect t see the cnstructin f an even mre cmprehensive digital system fr this imprtant river.

Chips, ckies and ice cream… Althugh these ultra-prcessed fds (UPFs) are tasty, they may. literally make yu an ”addict“. as revealed in a recent reprt in the British Medical Jurnal.
Simply put, ultra-prcessed fds are fds that yu can’t re-create in yur kitchen, accrding t the BBC. Prduced in factries, they ften have lng lists f ingredients that yu dn’t recgnize, such as additives, and are ready t eat r simply need t be heated.

Hwever, the sweeteners may bind with receptrs (受体) in the gut, which makes it mre sensitive t sweet fd, ultimately increasing the gut’s capacity t absrb sugar.
By acknwledging that certain UPFs are “addictive”, similar t cigarettes r alchl, “we may be able t help imprve glbal health, ” ne f the study’s authrs, Ashley Gearhardt, said in a press release. They are als calling fr mre actin t cmbat such an addictin.
    32. What is paragraph 2 mainly abut?
    A. The definitin f UPFs.
    B. The prductin prcess f UPFs.
    C. Cmmn additives in UPFs.
    D. Differences between UPFs and natural fds.
    33. What is the typical behavir f peple addicted t UPFs, accrding t the study?
    A. Increased desire fr carbhydrates and fat.
    B. Lss f interest in ther types f fd.
C Difficulty in resisting the urge t eat them.
    D. Feelings f guilt when cnsuming them.
    34. Why are UPFs mre likely t lead t addictin cmpared with natural fds?
    A. They are lwer in carbhydrates and fat.
B They prevent the gut frm burning calries.
    C. They cntain mre nutrients than needed.
    D. They prduce mre f a chemical that makes yu happy.
    35. Hw d artificial sweeteners in UPFs affect ur gut?
    A. By allwing the fd t get digested faster.
    B. By changing the way it takes in sugar.
    C. By imprving its ability t absrb nutrients.
    D. By reducing its sensitivity t natural fds.
