    Period 3 (Section B 1a-1e) 设计说明 本节课可以通过看图回答问题、听力训练、自由交谈,充分操练本课时重点句型。教学过程中充分利用真实的情景,借助手势、动作、表情、实物、图片等手段为学生创设贴近教材内容的直观情境,充分调动学生的学习积极性。 教学目标 1. 知识目标: (1)掌握单词和短语:talented,truly,care,care about,make sb. laugh。 (2)掌握句型:I think a good friend makes me laugh. For me,a good friend likes to do the same things as me. Yes,and a good friend is talented in music,too. 。 2. 能力目标:能用所学句型谈论、描述自己的好朋友,能够与他人交流和朋友有关的信息。 3. 情感目标:教会学生了解并理解朋友之间的差异,树立正确的交友观。 重点难点 1. 重点: (1)使学生掌握描述自己择友标准的英语单词、短语和句型。 (2)训练学生的听力技巧。 2. 难点:掌握本课时的句型,学会描述好朋友之间存在的差异。 教学准备 教具:多媒体课件,录音机,磁带。 教学过程 Step 1 Revision & Warming up T:Do you have any friends? Ss:Yes,we do. T:A friend in need is a friend indeed. What kind of things are important in a friend? S1:I think a good friend should be funny. S2:I think a good friend should be good at sports. Now look at 1a. Step 2 Presentation Show some pictures to the students. (1)T:Who is he? Ss:He is Qian Xuesen. T:Yes. He is a talented scientist. (2)T:Who truly cares about us? Ss:Our mothers. (3)T:Who is he? Ss:He’s a funny actor. T:Yes,he always makes us laugh. Teach the new words and phrases:talented,truly,care,care about,make sb. laugh. (板书新单词和短语) Step 3 Practice 1. Work on 1a. (1)Read and translate the sentences in 1a. (2)What kinds of things are important in a friend? Rank the things below [1-7] (1 is the most important). Answers will vary. (3)Finish Learning Task 1. ①在音乐方面有天赋 be talented in music ②擅长体育运动 be good at sports ③确实关心 truly care about ④使某人笑 make sb. laugh ⑤喜欢与我做同样的事 like to do the same things as me ⑥一名好的倾听者 a good listener 2. Work on 1b. (1)Talk about what you think a good friend should be like in groups of four. First read the example dialogue,and then make their dialogues about friends using the phrases in 1a. (2)Students try to write their own sentences. Step 4 Listening 1. Work on 1c. Listen. T:Next you will hear an interviewer talking to Molly and Mary. What are they talking about? When I play the recording for the first time,you just listen carefully and give me the answer. Have you got it? Check. T:Now look at the chart,and write the things that Molly and Mary like about their best friends. You can write only words and phrases. Let’s check the answers. Answers: 2. Work on 1d. Listen again. How are Molly and Mary the same as and different from their best friends? Complete the rest of the chart in 1c. Check the answers. Answers: 3. Listen and repeat. 4. Cooperative inquiry Discuss the following language points and fill in the blanks. (1)be talented in意为“在某方面有天赋”,其中talented为形容词,意为“有才能的,有才干的”,比较级为more talented。 (2)be good at意为“擅长”,与do well in同义。其中at为介词,其后接动词时,应用动词-ing形式。 Li Qiang is good at playing (play) basketball. (3)make作使役动词,其后接省略to的不定式作宾语补足语,即make sb. do sth. ,make后还可接形容词作宾语补足语,即make sb. /sth. +adj. 。 The boss made him work (work) 12 hours a day. He always makes me happy (happy). Step 5 Writing Make a report according to the chart in 1c. Report like this: Molly’s best friend is Peter,because Peter likes to do the same things as Molly. And they’re both pretty outgoing... Step 6 Game T:One student describes the traits of another classmate in our class,and other students guess who the person is. If someone gets it,we should say “Bingo”. Step 7 Summary In this period,we have learned: 1. New words and phrases:talented,truly,care,care about,make sb. laugh. 2. Sentences:I think a good friend makes me laugh. For me,a good friend likes to do the same things as me. Yes,and a good friend is talented in music,too. 当堂达标(见导学案“当堂达标”) 答案与解析: Ⅰ. 1. loudly 2. laugh make sb. laugh使某人发笑。 3. talented be talented in...在……方面有天赋。 4. cares care about 关心,在意。 5. truly Ⅱ. 1. dancing in为介词,应接动词-ing形式,故填dancing。 2. clean make sb. do sth. 意为“让某人做某事”,故填clean。 3. playing at是介词,后跟名词、代词或动词-ing形式作宾语。故填playing。 4. Kate’s 此处表示“凯特的(头发)”,空格后无名词,应用名词所有格形式Kate’s。 5. truly believe为动词,应用其副词形式修饰,故填truly。 Ⅲ. 1. D 由答语中“Because he likes to do the same things as I do.”可知,问句是询问喜欢他的原因,故选D。 2. B 由Yes可知问句为一般疑问句,由下文句意“是的,我们非常不同”可知B项符合题意。 3. C 由答语句意“我最好的朋友是弗兰克”可知,问句句意为“你最好的朋友是谁?”。 4. E 由上句句意“你喜欢他什么?”可知答语句意为“他是一名好的倾听者”。 5. A 由答语第一句句意“一些人说我们看起来很像”可知问句句意为“他与你很像吗?”。 Step 8 Homework 1.
