三、难点句型解析。

1.There is a big bed. （这里）有一张大床。

句型结构：There is/ are +人/物（+地点）

【解析】：该句型用于表达某处有某人/某物，属于there be 句型，基本框架：

There + be 动词+ 人/物（+地点）

There   is       a big bed

There be句型是英语中最常见的句型之一，它表示“在某处有或存在......”。在此句型中，there 无实际意义，也不必译出。

be动词：be动词的选用要和离它最近的名词的数保持一致。如果后面是单数名词或不可数名词，be动词就用is；如果后面是复数名词，be动词就用are。

地点：通常是表示方位的介词短语，用来说明人或物的具体位置。

生活实例：John正在描述他家附近有一个美丽的花园。让我们来看一看他是怎么样说的：

John：There is a beautiful garden near my home. 在我家附近有一个美丽的花园。

要点提示：注意这个句型中的be动词不能用am。

2.—Where is the ball？ —球在哪里？　

—It's in front of the dog. —它在狗的前面。

句型结构：Where is/ are ......?

答语：It/he/she is...或 they’re...

【解析】：这是询问某物在什么地方的问句及答语。“in front of”表示“在......前面”。“in front of”可以用其它表示方位的词代替，表示不同的意思。

例句：—Where is the ball? —球在哪儿？

—It’s in beside the dog.—他在狗的旁边。
