    设计说明

    本课时学习有关中国传统艺术的短文。教学时先从讨论中国传统文化中的艺术形式入手,导入新课,从而进入对课文的阅读和理解,通过完成不同的阅读任务,让学生理解文本内容。

    教学目标

    通过本课时的学习,让学生达成以下目标:

    1. 知识目标:

    (1)单词:its, form, balloon, scissors, lively, heat, complete 

    (2)短语:Chinese history, sky lanterns, send... out, in trouble, be covered with...,

    rise into the air, hot-air balloons, symbols of happiness and good wishes, paper cutting, put... on windows, doors and walls, Chinese clay art, fairy tales, historical stories, at a very high heat, be used for doing/to do sth.

    (3)句子:They are made of bamboo and covered with paper.

    It takes several weeks to complete everything.

    2. 能力目标:

    学会使用一般现在时的被动语态介绍中国的传统艺术

    3. 情感目标:

    了解中国传统艺术形式,热爱中国文化,培养爱国情怀。

    1.重点:(1)让学生掌握本课时出现的重点单词、短语及句型;

    (2)通过阅读短文,提高学生对文章从整体到细节的理解能力。

    2.难点:让学生学会从整体到细节的阅读策略。

    Step 1 Lead-in

    Show the students some pictures: Beijing Opera, New Year painting and Chinese clay. Get them to talk in pairs.

    2. Before, they were used to ask for help when in trouble. Today, sky lanterns are used at festivals and other celebrations.

    4. Paper cuttings are put on windows, doors and walls as symbols of wishes for good luck and a happy new year.

    5. First, the pieces are carefully shaped by hand from a very special kind of clay and then allowed to air-dry.

    Second, after drying, they are fired at a very high heat.

    At last, they are polished and painted.

    6. I think the sky lantern is the most interesting. Because it’s not too difficult for me to make one by myself. And it’s exciting to see the lantern fly away in the sky. (答案不唯一,范例仅供参考)
