    Getting ready
    ·Bring in sme phts f yur family. Intrduce yur family t the Ss.

    ·Ask Ss t bring in phts f their families fr future lessns.
    Using the bk
    ·T: Open yur bks. Wh’s this? (Pint t Gg.)
    ·T: Repeat. He’s Gg. [Ss: He’s Gg.]
    ·D the same with the ther characters.
    ·T: Listen.
    ·Play the tape.
    ·T: Listen and repeat.
    ·Play the tape, pausing after each sentence t have Ss repeat.
    ·Withut the tape, shw Ss hw t act ut the dialg with mre expressin.
    ·Divide the class int tw grups, each grup representing a different character.
    ·Have the class perfrm the dialg, each grup saying its lines in unisn r repeating its lines after the T.

    ·Use the Character Cards f Gg’s family frm WB p.70.
    ·Befre class, hide them arund the rm with a little f the pictures shwing. Tell Ss t remain at their desks, but t pint t the hidden cards.
    ·T: Where are the pictures? (Pretend t be lking arund.)
    ·Ask Ss t pint t the pictures they see. As they find the pictures, describe each picture t them. T: Sister. (Pint t the picture.) Repeat. [Ss: Sister.] Cntinue with the ther cards.

    ·Play the tape and have Ss repeat each wrd. Pint t the picture f family. T: Say family. Repeat. Family. Pint t the ther pictures at randm and have Ss say each wrd.
