    The tpic f this part is “Write a dramatic scene”.
    The sectin is the cntinuus part after Henry Adams went ut f the restaurant. This is Act 2, Scene 1, during which Henry went int a tailr’s shp and wanted t have a suit cat because his cat was wrn in several places. Just like the experience in the restaurant, he was treated implitely at first, but he was treated like a upper class gentleman when he shwed the millin pund bank nte. S it is a secnd check fr the humanity befre and after the millin pund bank nte(mney).
    This play is partly selected frm American writer Mark Twain, whse language feature is realistic and irnic. The Millin Pund Bank Nte is ne f his realistic and irnic nvels. The play tells that tw ld and wealthy brthers Rdrick and Oliver hit an amazing idea that if an intelligent and hnest man wh had nthing r nbdy t rely n but a millin bank nte was trapped in Lndn, what wuld be he and his life ? The tw brthers argued abut it and culdn’t cnvince each ther, s they fund such a persn t make a bet. Henry Adams was just right. They gave him the millin pund bank nte t him. The fllwing results made them and readers quite surprised. Henry culd get free dishes, free accmmdatin, free clthing and higher scial status because f peple’s ingratiatin. Besides, he even received a passin frm a beautiful lady, the bank interest abut £30,000 and a decent jb. He lived a happy life frm then n. The writer described the ugly image f peple facing the millin pund bank nte with the cartn writing skill and uncvered the cruel reality that mney is everything in the capitalist regime.

    B: (in a rude manner) Yes, I can see that. Indeed, I can.
    H: Fine, well, I’ll have a seat then.
    (He sits in ne f the barber’s chairs. The barber turns t lk at Henry. )
    B: It’s quite expensive here, yu knw! Are yu sure yu can affrd it?
    H: Yes. I think s.
    (After his hair is cut, the barber tells Henry hw much he must pay. Henry shws the barber the bank nte. )
    B: Why Mr. . . (lks shcked)
    H: Adams. Henry Adams. I’m srry. I dn’t have any change.
    B: Please dn’t wrry! (wearing a big smile) Nthing t wrry abut! Nthing at all! Please cme back whenever yu want, even if yu nly have t little hair t cut! It will be my hnur t serve yu!
