A lt f typical Australian fd，such as the Sunday rast，is riginally British. Bakeries，fast-fd jints，butcher shps，cafes，and restaurants everywhere prvide sme f the premier fd experiences in the wrld. The influence f Asian cultures，n the ther hand，led t the intrductin f bean curd and Asian herbs，alng with Australian versins f fds like the Chinese-inspired dim sum.

My friend and I have arrived in Katherine，a twn in Australia’s Nrthern Territry. We’re here t learn abut the life and custms f the Abrigines，wh are native t Australia. The Abriginal ppulatin might be small，but its influence is still visible. Fr example，“Bndi” in “Bndi Beach” is an Abriginal wrd meaning “water breaking ver rcks”.

I tried t learn hw t play it，but after trying fr hurs，I was cnvinced that I culd never make a musical sund with this instrument!

It’s almst time fr me t say gdbye t Australia. I’ve enjyed my time here very much. After being here fr a while，my biggest impressin is the cmplicated mix f peples and cultures that make up the natin. Althugh the main cultural influence since 1788 has been Western culture，minrity cultures have als played a part in shaping the unique Australian culture，with many f the new cultural influences cntributed by immigrants. It is said that nw nearly half f all Australian citizens were either brn verseas r have parents wh were brn verseas.

They then find their way int their mther’s puch—a kind f pcket—t stay safe and warm. They sleep and drink milk in that temprary，prtected envirnment until they are abut seven r eight mnths ld. After this phase，they g ut t try their legs. After they learn t jump，they gradually spend less time with their mther and learn t be independent. Kangars may lk cute，but encunters with them dn’t always end s well. Kangars can hit and kick very hard，s please flks，if yu see sme kangars，remember they’re nt fr petting!

If yu want t hld a kala，yu have t g t certain licensed zs where animal experts make sure that the kalas selected fr each sessin are in a gd state fr human cntact and that they are handled fr nly a limited time and n a limited frequency f ccasins.

There are nly a small handful f animals in the wrld that can d that!
